About This Tour
Lahij is a remarkably preserved medieval village perched in the Ismailli mountains, famous for its centuries-old copper crafts. The narrow cobblestone streets are lined with workshops where master coppersmiths still practice techniques unchanged for generations. The village has its own Iranian dialect and is considered one of the most authentic craft villages in the Caucasus.

Day 1
Depart Baku, drive via Ismailli (2.5 hrs), scenic mountain road to Lahij. Check in boutique guesthouse, evening walk through craft lanes.
Day 2
Full village day — copper workshop visits, try your hand at engraving, local herb market, waterfall hike in surrounding mountains.
Day 3
Morning photography, traditional breakfast, return to Baku.
